Want to be on the first page of your Google keyword results? Who doesn’t!

That is the challenge all companies are saddled with today. Everyone is fighting for the same ten spots and there are no guarantees on getting there and staying there. That being said there are many ways to increase your odds exponentially. A full explanation of what it takes is really a conversation that should happen in person but here are some talking points to consider.

  1. Your site should always focus on relevant, fresh, and quality content. Give people a reason to visit, link to and refer people. The more traffic the better your rankings will be!
  2. Research your keywords to make sure you are going after the right traffic.
  3. Provide good, clear titles for content. Don’t get cute or fancy with titles.
  4. Understand the importance of quality HTML code and page layout. Get a handle on what technology helps and hurts your results.
  5. Utilize any and all available means to getting your site traffic up and be patient.

All of those things will go a long way to improving your organic results. While you wait for organic results the best way to get results is pay-per-click advertising. That my friends is a whole other ball of wax. We get to that subject another day.
